Althea Hondrogen, Pilates InstructorAlthea has worked in the health and fitness industry since 1990. She is certified by PhysicalMind Institute as a pilates instructor and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a personal trainer. Her knowledge, energy and contagious enthusiasm make her one of the most popular instructors and personal trainers.
Althea has extensive experience in physical rehabilitation, and truly looks forward to seeing her clients fully recover from past injuries and then achieve higher levels of fitness. Eugenia Salomon, Pilates InstructorEugenia was first introduced to Pilates as a result of a dance injury and then continued to study Pilates because of the immense personal benefits she experienced. Following years of dance and yoga, she went on to receive her formal Pilates training and certification through Body Arts and Sciences International. More recently her work has been influenced by her continued education with Lizz Roman and Erik Franklin (including training in Pilates for rehab, and the use of dynamic imagery towards reconditioning movement and posture).
Eugenia has an abiding fascination with the relationship of mind and body in physical and psychological healing. She holds a Bachelor from New School for Social Research as well as a Masters in Psychology through Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is currently completing her training towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
As a Pilates instructor Eugenia assists her clients on their path towards a more holistic sense of well-being through renewed strength, balance, and fitness. She believes that embracing ones imperfections and weaknesses is the best way to access hidden strengths and healing potential.
Kristin Neidlinger, Pilates InstructorKristin Neidlinger is a Pilates rehabilitation specialist with over 7 years of experience. She has worked with performing artists, athletes, golfers and desk jockeys. At St. Francis Hospital, she worked as a Dance Medicine Specialist and Pilates-based Rehabilitation Therapist from 2005 to 2007, as well as with many chiropractic offices. She is a Certified Massage Therapist in Somatic Education (CMT-SE), She is certified in Rehabilitation and Osteoporosis Pilates. She holds a BFA in Kinetic Design.
Kristin found Pilates through dance injury rehabilitation and subsequently converted to the healing, aligning, and body mind integration philosophy of Pilates. As a teacher, she focuses on a holistic approach of Pilates-based rehabilitation, somatic education, neuromuscular re-education, mind body connection, breathing and relaxation techniques. She is a student of dance and martial arts and chi/energy techniques. As an instructor, she encourages the exploration of the universe within.
